The opening
Beachfront rooms on Srithanu Beach
Phangan Cove Beach Resort sits directly on Srithanu Beach, on Koh Phangan's west coast — known for beautiful sunsets. Bungalows are set back from the sand among the natural trees that grow on the property, not crammed shoulder-to-shoulder, with the restaurant and the sea both a short walk away. Mornings are simple. Sand underfoot, breakfast on site, no scooter needed. Evenings face open sea: Sri Thanu is the sunset side of the island, with the Ang Thong Marine Park islands on the horizon. Right if you want the beach to shape your day. Less right if you want bars at 2 a.m. — Haad Rin is forty minutes east, and that's by design.
What it feels like
A small operation, not a hotel.
Eiu and her team know returning guests by name and what they ordered last time. Families share the beach with yogis, divers, and long-stay regulars. People settle into a rhythm here that's hard to break — most leave already planning the next stay.

On site
The restaurant
Eiu cooks. Thai food learned from her mother in Surat Thani, plus a European menu she's built up over the years — burgers, pasta, vegetarian and vegan plates that aren't an afterthought. Open to non-guests, which means dinner is busier than the rest of the property. That's a feature for guests who want some life around them at the end of the day; less ideal if you want the whole beach to yourselves at sunset.
Where it is
On Srithanu Beach, on Koh Phangan's west coast — the sunset side of the island. Yoga studios, casual restaurants and the Srithanu strip are a short walk; Haad Yao is reachable on foot. The view west is open sea, with the Ang Thong Marine Park islands on the horizon at sunset. Right if you want beach days, slow sunset dinners, and the wellness scene nearby. Less right if your main plan is Haad Rin, late nights, or crossing the island every day.
