Srithanu, a minute back from the water
A whole house, a minute from the sea.
Four two-storey villas of 110–115 m², each with its own character — sea view, pool view or garden. En-suite bedrooms, a kitchen to cook in, and a shared pool at the centre of it all.

The cottages
Room to spread out
Each villa is a two-storey house of 110–115 m²: an open-plan kitchen, dining and living room downstairs with a guest toilet, and the bedrooms upstairs — in three of the four, both are en-suite. Fully furnished, high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV, and a terrace or balcony facing the pool or the garden. It is a house, not a room. The four share one pool, a garden and parking, which is what keeps them calmer than a resort. This is a quiet, family-oriented compound: the pool closes at 19:00 and the shared areas at 22:00, so it suits families and couples rather than groups looking for a party. Choose the Cottages if you are a family or two couples travelling together and want space without giving up the walk to the beach. Less right if you want to step straight from your door onto the sand — that is the Beach Resort — or if a pool of your own matters more than being able to walk everywhere, which is what the Pool Villas are for.
Where to stay
The cottages
Four villas, each different. They vary in size, outlook, bed setup and how many people they sleep, so pick by the view you want and the beds you need.
Sea View Villa
The only one of the four with a sea view. A 30 m² bedroom upstairs looks out to the water from its own balcony, and the second bedroom shares the same outlook. Both are en-suite with hot water and air conditioning. Downstairs is open-plan with a smart TV, a gas stove, a dining table for six, and a sofa that opens for a fifth person. A small garden sits off the terrace.

Downstairs opens straight onto the pool terrace, with a smart TV, an electric stove and a bar table seating five. The most direct pool access of the four.

Garden View Villa
The quietest of the four, set back toward the garden, and the one with a spare room — an extra half room with its own air conditioning and bathroom that works as an office or a playroom. The 30 m² main bedroom is en-suite; the second has two single beds and is cooled from the adjoining room rather than its own unit, and has no bathroom of its own. Gas stove, smart TV, table for five.

The ground floor is open-plan living, kitchen and dining with a guest toilet and a work desk, opening onto a terrace on the pool with table and chairs. Kitchen is set for eight. A sofa bed takes a fifth guest.

In every villa
What every villa has
All four are two-storey houses with the bedrooms upstairs and an open-plan kitchen, dining and living room below, plus a guest toilet on the ground floor. Every villa has air conditioning in the main rooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, kettle and toaster, and hot water on electric heaters. They share one 4 × 7 m pool, a garden and parking in front. A laundry is half a minute from the gate, and cots are available on request. Two things worth knowing before you book: the bedrooms are all upstairs, so none of the villas is step-free, and there is no washing machine in the houses. The compound is a quiet, family-oriented place — the pool closes at 19:00 and shared areas at 22:00, and we ask guests not to bring visitors from outside or exceed the number of people agreed at booking.

What's around
What's around
Srithanu is the west-coast village that grew around yoga, vegetarian kitchens and sunset swims. From the villas it is about a minute on foot to the sea and four to Zen Beach, with cafés, restaurants, a gym, massage and the Orion centre within a couple of minutes' walk. There is a laundry half a minute from the gate, and Phangan Cove Restaurant, at our Beach Resort, is a short ride up the coast. This suits people who would rather walk than ride. If you plan to spend your days at the far ends of the island, you will still want a scooter.
Where they are
The cottages sit just back from the water in Srithanu, on Koh Phangan's quiet west coast. A minute on foot puts you on the sand; restaurants and cafés are on the same stretch of road. Close enough to walk everywhere locally, far enough back to be out of the noise.
